Meet Belinda - Holistic Facialist

My journey began in the beauty industry over 25 years ago, working in a high-end spa in Sydney and exclusive skincare salons in London. I later transitioned into training and education, deepening my hands-on experience and mastering a range of advanced facial techniques.

In 2008, while starting a family, I began questioning conventional beauty practices and researching skincare ingredients. I came to realise that the industry I once loved no longer aligned with my values around health and conscious living. This was the beginning of my path toward natural skincare and a more holistic way of life.

In 2013, at age 37, and with two young children, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This life-altering moment reshaped everything. I was called to slow down, listen to my body, and give it the space and nourishment it needed to heal. I discovered that true beauty and wellness begin within — through self-care, presence, and honoring the body’s wisdom.

Motivated by my own healing, I went on to study holistic health coaching and nutrition, deepening my understanding of the connection between inner health and skin vitality. I felt called to create a space where women could care for their skin in a way that was both nourishing and deeply restorative.

In 2017, Holistic Skin ~ beauty from within was born.

In 2021, my family and I relocated from Sydney to the mid-north coast, seeking a slower, simpler life, living on land. This move has deepened my connection to nature, and in turn, to myself.

Today, Holistic Skin is a sanctuary for women in Port Macquarie, offering deeply nurturing facial rituals that support skin health, calm the nervous system, and honour the whole woman through every season of life.

It’s my intention to hold space for you, creating a personalised experience where you can slow down, reconnect, and feel deeply supported and held.
